How to make it

  • Fry bacon in large pot till almost crisp.
  • Add onion and fry till cooked.
  • Add potatoes to the pot.
  • Add just enough water to cover the potatoes. Simmer till tender.
  • Add the corn. Simmer a few minutes.
  • Add 1/2 to 1c. milk (enough to make the desired ratio of corn, potatoes and liquid.
  • Mix 1/4c. flour into 1/2c. cold water, stir till smooth. Stir into the soup and bring to boil, just until thickened.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
