Easy Strawberry Napoleones

Had a similar dessert in a recent trip to HK and was overjoyed when I came across this recipe recently. Boy, its really worth a try! A very easy alternative to one of my favorite puff pastry desserts.
Ingredients
- 20 pcs wonton wrappers shopping list
- oil for deep frying shopping list
- 1/2 cup cream cheese shopping list
- 2 TBSP sugar shopping list
- 1 cup whipped cream shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- sliced strawberries (or your favorite fresh fruit) shopping list
How to make it
- Deep fry the wonton wrappers until crisp. Be sure the oil is hot enough to prevent the wrappers from being soggy. Set Aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sugar, fold in the whipped cream, then add the vanilla extract. Chill.
- To assemble: place a dollop of the cream mixture on the plate and set a wonton wrapper on it. On the wrapper, place more cream, then the fruit and then more cream. sandwich with another wonton wrapper. Continue layering as desired.
