How to make it

  • Boil the rice following directions on the package. Let it cool down a bit.
  • Mix mushrooms, onions, garlic, hazelnuts and thyme.
  • Melt butter in a big pan and stir fry the mushroom mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  • Add rice, eggs, cream, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.
  • Pour mixture in a greased baking dish (about 1 1/2 l) and bake, uncovered, at 175ÂșC for 1 hour.
  • Serve warm as main course or cold with bread as an appetizer.
