How to make it

  • If you cannot find Chipotle Chilis in your super market, try substituting with any other mild flavored chili.
  • Cook onion, garlic and chipotle in half the butter in a small skillet over medium heat until soft.
  • Stir in tomato puree; season to taste with salt. Add some water and continue simmering
  • Cook shrimp in remaining butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it turns pink and dries up. . Mix thoroughly.
  • Immediately stir in the sauce to combine.
