Meat Samosas Recipe
A meat samosa with a difference. The filling is smoked and gives a unique flavor to it

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg mince meat
  • 2 tbsps ginger, garlic paste
  • 4 chillies(chopped finely)
  • Salt.
  • 2 big onions (finely chopped).
  • 3 tbsps mint leaves(chopped finely)
  • 2 tbsps corriander leaves(chopped finely)
  • 1 lemon.
  • 1 1/2 tbsps garam masala powder.
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions
  1. Wash meat and squeeze out water, add ginger, garlic paste ,lemon and salt, braise on medium heat till dry. Remove from heat.
  2. Add onions, chillies, corriander leaves, mint leaves and garam masala powder, mix well.
  3. Put 1 tsp of ghee in the middle,and place a burning charcoal on it,close it immediately with tight fitting lid or pack with silver foil so that the smoke doesnt escape from the sides,leave for an hour.
  4. Open it ,remove charcoal, mix well.
  5. Take a samosa wrapper, fill about 3 tsps(depends of the size of wrapper),seal the sides (a triangle) with white flour and water paste.
  6. Deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp.(If samosas are fried on high heat they dont remain crisp for long)
  7. Serve hot with coconut chutney or lemon wedges.

Wow, a samoosa recipe! :) thanks! I'm from South Africa and we were privileged to have many Indian friends who often shared their food with us, but never the recipes lol... i loved samoosas, but here in Italy one cannot find such things. Do you have a recipe for making the samoosa wrapper also? Please add it up if you do! Thanks a million!!

I love Samosas, my hubby have a friend from India, and he has an Indian restaurant here, I eat them with Mint Chutney or Tamarind Chutney.
Just that would be wonderful to load a picture and will be fine the step by step... :-)
