- 3 Tbs.sherry or rice wine-I use saki shopping list
- 2 Tbs. vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 Tbs. soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. five- spice powder (ALL ABOVE IS FOR A marinade) shopping list
- seasoning BLEND shopping list
- 1/2 TSP. five-spice powder shopping list
- 1/4 TSP. DRIED thyme shopping list
- 1/4 TSP. kosher salt shopping list
- 1/4 TSP. fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 4 quail shopping list
- vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- TO MAKE THE MARINADE;MIX ALL INGERDIENTS TOGETHER,VERY WELL.
- PUT QUAIL IN A LARGE,HEAVY DUTY PLASTIC,ZIP-LOCK BAG
- POUR IN MARINADE AND PRESS OUT ALL THE AIR. SHAKE BAG,VERY WELL TO DISTRIBUTE MARINADE EVENLY OVER QUAIL
- REFRIGERATE 1 TO 8 HOURS.REMOVE QUAIL AND DISCARD MARINADE.PAT DRY WITH PAPER TOWELS
- LIGHTLY BRUSH WITH OIL.MIX SEASONING BLEND IN A SMALL BOWL AND SPRINKLE OVER QUAIL
- GRILL,BREAST SIDE DOWN,OVER INDIRECT,MEDIUM HEAT FOR 15-20 MINUTES OR UNTIL JUICES RUN A VERY PALE PINK(GAME BIRDS JUICES WILL BE SLIGHTLY PINK WHEN DONE,DON'T OVER COOK)
