How to make it

  • Spread 2 bread slices evenly with butter on one side.
  • Divide cheese slices atop unbuttered side.
  • Butter last 2 slices of bread and set onto cheese unbuttered side down.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. When hot, set in sandwiches and cook 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • You could also substitute monterey jack, extra-aged farmer gouda, and provolone in this sandwich.
