Non traditional Apple Pie

- Dough: shopping list
- 1 can pie apples (410 g) shopping list
- 37 ml margarine shopping list
- 250 ml sugar (1 cup) shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 250 ml self raising flour (1 cup) shopping list
- 63 ml milk shopping list
- 5 ml baking powder (1 teaspoon) shopping list
- cream shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 250 ml Ideal milk - evaporated milk (1 cup) shopping list
- 187 ml sugar shopping list
- 5 ml vanilla essence (1 teaspoon) shopping list
How to make it
- Dough:
- Place can of pie apples in an ovenproof baking dish.
- Mix margarine and sugar together.
- Beat the eggs in.
- Gradually beat in the flour and milk.
- Beat in the baking powder.
- Pour mixture over pie apples.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Sauce:
- Cook everything together until the sugar is melted.
- Take the pie out of the oven.
- Using a fork, make small holes in the pie.
- Pour over the sauce.
- Whip cream.
- Serve with cream.
