Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 4 cloves chopped garlic
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
  • 24 jump shrimp peeled and deveined with tails left on
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges

Directions
  1. In a medium saucepan heat canola oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook 2 minutes.
  3. Add ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and Creole seasoning.
  4. Stir will and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes and allow to cool.
  6. Place shrimp in a large nonreactive bowl and pour 1/2 of the cooled sauce over the shrimp.
  7. Toss to coat shrimp evenly.
  8. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  9. Heat grill and grill shrimp until done.
  10. Place on a platter and pour remaining sauce over shrimp.
  11. Garnish with lemon wedges
