Creole Barbeque Shrimp

- 2 tablespoons canola oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped white onion shopping list
- 4 cloves chopped garlic shopping list
- 3/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon creole seasoning shopping list
- 24 jump shrimp peeled and deveined with tails left on shopping list
- 1 lemon cut into wedges shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium saucepan heat canola oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic and cook 2 minutes.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and Creole seasoning.
- Stir will and bring to a simmer.
- Cook for 5 minutes and allow to cool.
- Place shrimp in a large nonreactive bowl and pour 1/2 of the cooled sauce over the shrimp.
- Toss to coat shrimp evenly.
- Refrigerate 2 hours.
- Heat grill and grill shrimp until done.
- Place on a platter and pour remaining sauce over shrimp.
- Garnish with lemon wedges
