Ingredients
  • 5 large apples, diced (leave peels on if you want, I do)
  • 2 large pears, diced (peels on)
  • 1 navel orange, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium over-ripe bananas, peeled and chopped

Directions
  1. Place all fruits and their juices into a large pot over medium-low heat. Stir to mix well.
  2. Cook, uncovered, about 2 hours or until fruits have gone completely mushy. Stir once about every half hour, breaking up the fruits.
  3. Using an immersion blender, puree mixture until smooth. Alternatively, transfer batches to a blender or food processor and liquefy until creamy.
  4. Store in a tight-lidded jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze up to 3 months.
