How to make it

  • Check your rice cooking time and start the rice cooking accordingly to mesh with finish time of main dish
  • I cooked mine in chicken broth
  • Prep:
  • shell and devein shrimp and butterfly
  • cut aout 1 /2 " from bottom of bok choy and quarter
  • chunky chop any white left on stalks
  • roll leaves together and cut in a chiffanade manner
  • cut onion in half across middle and thin slice
  • heat pan
  • when hot add enough oil to cover bottom (about 3 good turns)
  • At this point make sure rice has been started
  • Lower oil to medium
  • Add onions, bok choy, cilantro,use garlic press and put right in
  • (I used 10 cloves)
  • When the veggies are semi-soft add wine, broTh..then shrimp
  • when shrimp are just pink
  • add drained mushrooms
  • re-season to taste
  • Serve on hot rice garnish with toasted sesame seeds
