Whats For Dinner Jumbo Shrimp Recipe

I made this for supper tonight from what I had in my freezer and fridge so will take a few days before I empty my camera. This definitely is a guessipe but turned out not half-bad. Everyone enjoyed it here.Feel free to add whatever.

Ingredients
  • 2 cup uncooked rice of your choice
  • 2 baby bok choy
  • 1-2 heads garlic
  • 1 xtra large red onion
  • 1 can straw mushrooms drained
  • handfull chopped cilantro
  • sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lb seasoned jumbo shrimp
  • sal and pepper to taste
  • toasted sesame seeds

Directions
  1. Check your rice cooking time and start the rice cooking accordingly to mesh with finish time of main dish
  2. I cooked mine in chicken broth
  3. Prep:
  4. shell and devein shrimp and butterfly
  5. cut aout 1 /2 " from bottom of bok choy and quarter
  6. chunky chop any white left on stalks
  7. roll leaves together and cut in a chiffanade manner
  8. cut onion in half across middle and thin slice
  9. heat pan
  10. when hot add enough oil to cover bottom (about 3 good turns)
  11. At this point make sure rice has been started
  12. Lower oil to medium
  13. Add onions, bok choy, cilantro,use garlic press and put right in
  14. (I used 10 cloves)
  15. When the veggies are semi-soft add wine, broTh..then shrimp
  16. when shrimp are just pink
  17. add drained mushrooms
  18. re-season to taste
  19. Serve on hot rice garnish with toasted sesame seeds
