Tater Tot Casserole Recipe
A recipe I tweaked from high school foods and nutrition class. There we used cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken, and added a can of veggies before the layer of cheese.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground chuck or low-fat ground beef
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (can be low-fat)
  • 2-3 cups cheddar cheese (to your liking) - can be low-fat
  • Tater tots to cover top
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Press meat in bottom of glass casserole dish.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover with cheese.
  4. Spread soup over cheese.
  5. Top with the tater tots.
  6. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
  7. Let sit for approx. 10 minutes before cutting.
