Ingredients

How to make it

  • Stir together baking soda and corn starch in a pan.
  • Add water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • When mixture is the consistency of moist mashed potatoes, turn out on a plate and cover with a damp cloth.
  • When cool enough to handle, let the artist in you come out.
  • Color may be added to the clay using food coloring while kneading, or painting after the object has dried.
  • A shiny glaze can be applied to the finished objects with clear varnish, liquid plastic, or 1 or 2 coats of fingernail polish.

Wow! this is great for kids... as much as they say play-doh is non-toxic, it's still chemicals and can't be good when eaten by the kiddies lol... not that I let my kids eat play-doh, but sometimes it's unavoidable!!
