Luscious Lime Angel Squares

- 1 package sugar free lime gelatin (.3 ounce) shopping list
- 1 cup boiling water shopping list
- 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into 1 inch cubes shopping list
- 1 package reduced fat cream cheese cubed shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest shopping list
- 1 carton reduced fat whipped topping, thawed, divided (8 ounces) shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water,
- Refrigerate until mixture just begins to thickens, about 35 minutes.
- Place cake cubes in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish coated with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Beat in sugar, lemon juice and zest.
- Add gelatin mixture; beat until combined.
- Fold in 1 1/2 cups whipped topping.
- Spread over cake, covering completely.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Cut into squares; top with remaining whipped topping.
