How to make it

  • Over medium heat mix the sugar, garlic and soy sauce.
  • simmer for at least 10 minutes.
  • Keep watch, it can boil over very suddenly.
  • Add vinegar 1/2 tsp each at a time ~ to taste.
  • Be careful tasting this mix, sugar doesn't cool down quickly.
  • Strain the garlic bits and store in the fridge.
  • You an tell if this has gone bad if you have sugar chunks or crystals on the side ofthe storage bottle.
  • Enjoy.
