Ingredients

How to make it

  • Start boiling water
  • Look in freezer for frozen veggies/sausage
  • Prepare veggie sausage according to directions (skillet)
  • Put pasta in boiling water
  • Steam frozen veggies
  • Heat pesto in microwave on "defrost" setting (2-3 minutes, stirring once - full power will burn)
  • Mix all ingredients in bowl
  • Serve

    I love the pesto in ice cube trays idea! I always make pesto in the summer when my basil is thriving and WISH I had some in the winter! Great idea ~ high five for that idea alone. Blessings, deb

    Yep, it's pretty convenient - you can make an enormous batch of pesto when basil is in season and plentiful, freeze it up, and use it the rest of the year!
