Sloppy Ramekins Recipe

Sloppy Ramekins Recipe
These were so fun to make last night. I wanted sloppy joes, but I wanted to put a spin on them. They were so fun to eat in the ramekins. I cut hearts out of sliced cheese and melted it on top. So Cute!!!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef (I used Buffalo, its much leaner)
  • Manwhich sloppy joe mix (I know I'm so lazy, but feel free to make your own sauce)
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 bag frozen mixed veggies, thawed
  • 4 slices cheese, any kind you prefer
  • frozen pre-made bread dough
  • *If I had one at home, I would have added a diced and seeded jalapeƱo pepper

Directions
  1. preheat oven to 375
  2. roll the dough onto a flour surface, roll with rolling pin to form a thin rectangle
  3. depending on the size of your ramekins cut the dough into rectangles and place in the bottom with dough coming up the sides
  4. bake for 10 minutes until dough is almost done
  5. meanwhile brown meat and onions in a skillet, drain well
  6. add sauce and veggies
  7. bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10 minutes
  8. cut hearts out of cheese slices
  9. once you cut the hearts out, diced the outer part of the cheese
  10. take ramekins out of oven and sprinkle the left over cheese onto the bread
  11. fill with meat and veggie mixture
  12. bake for 5-7 minutes
  13. place cheese heart on top and bake another 2-3 minutes
