Sloppy Ramekins
From asheats 16 years agoIngredients
- 1 lb. ground beef (I used Buffalo, its much leaner) shopping list
- Manwhich sloppy joe mix (I know I'm so lazy, but feel free to make your own sauce) shopping list
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 bag frozen mixed veggies, thawed shopping list
- 4 slices cheese, any kind you prefer shopping list
- frozen pre-made bread dough shopping list
- *If I had one at home, I would have added a diced and seeded jalapeño pepper shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 375
- roll the dough onto a flour surface, roll with rolling pin to form a thin rectangle
- depending on the size of your ramekins cut the dough into rectangles and place in the bottom with dough coming up the sides
- bake for 10 minutes until dough is almost done
- meanwhile brown meat and onions in a skillet, drain well
- add sauce and veggies
- bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10 minutes
- cut hearts out of cheese slices
- once you cut the hearts out, diced the outer part of the cheese
- take ramekins out of oven and sprinkle the left over cheese onto the bread
- fill with meat and veggie mixture
- bake for 5-7 minutes
- place cheese heart on top and bake another 2-3 minutes
