Curried Chicken Turnovers

- 1 cup finely chopped cooked chicken shopping list
- 1 medium apple, peeled and finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise( I use the lite brand) shopping list
- 1/4 cup nuts shopping list
- 1 green onion, minced shopping list
- 1 to 2 tsp curry powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- Pastry for double crust shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; mix well and set aside
- Roll pastry to 1/8 in. thickness.
- Cut into 5 in circles.
- Spoon about 1/4 cup filling in the center of each circle
- Moisten edges of pastry with water
- Fold over and seal edges with a fork
- Place on a grease baking sheet.
- Cut 1/2 in vents in tops.
- Brush with egg.
- Bake at 425* for 15- 20 min or until golden brown.
