How to make it

  • Heat the olive oil in a small pan over low heat.
  • Add the red pepper flakes, garlic and pepper and leave over very low heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Cool and add salt
  • Pour over the marinade over the cheese and toss to coat well.
  • Let the cheese marinate at room temperature for several hours. (Or let it marinate in the refrigerate where it will keep well for several days; bring to room temperature before serving.
  • Serve with toothpicks

    Okay, everybody now ... cheese, cheese, cheese! Love it, thanks for a great post! One of our local delis carries tiny mozzarella balls, so I'm going to try this one for sure!
