How to make it

  • Chop onions and slice sausage into cresent shapes
  • Saute onions and add sausage. Cook until browned
  • Drain all of the vegetables except for the beans(don't drain green beans either) and tomatoes
  • Stir vegetables and beans together
  • Cook over medium/low heat until hot approx 45 mins
  • Enjoy!

    Mmmmmmm... I make a similar soup to your Mom's and it's great on a cold day! The difference is I use Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes and add approximately 2-3 garlic cloves, minced. I like the fact that your Mom's recipe calls for canned potatoes though because it makes preparing the soup so much faster and easier! Cheers!!!
