Ingredients
  • 1 pound - generous Oatmeal , OR wheat flour
  • 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon Water
  • 3 tablespoons Lard
  • 1 dash Salt

Directions
  1. From grandmother's more thrifty times; rarely encountered today.
  2. -
  3. In a skillet, brown the oatmeal a bit.
  4. Then add water and salt.
  5. In a cast iron skillet, pan fry the resulting thick dough in the lard, tearing it into pieces in the process.
