How to make it

  • Cook tortellini according to directions.
  • While this is cooking break off ends of asparagus. Cut into bite sized pieces. In a small skillet, place 1 tbsp of oil and cook asparagus until tender crisp....2 minutes.
  • In a large saucepan, combine sauce and cream, heat over medium heat.
  • Combine flour and water in measuring cup. Gradually add flour mixture to saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • Add the asparagus, thyme and olive oil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 3-4 minutes or until heated through.
  • Drain tortellini, toss with sauce.
  • Sprinkle with cheese, pepper and parsley.
