West Coast Garlic Salmon Recipe
This is one of my favorite salmon recipes. The sauce that goes over the top is amazing. You will love this one, I promise.

Ingredients
  • 4 large salmon steaks
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • Lemon wedges

Directions
  1. Combine butter, oil, lemon juice, tarragon, lemon peel and pepper flakes to make a marinade.
  2. Place salmon and broiler and brush with half the marinade.
  3. Broil under pre-heated broiler 2 inches from heat for 4 minutes.
  4. Turn and brush with remaining marinade then broil until fish flakes about 4 more minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Salmon is one of my all time favorites; I could eat it every week and never tire of the flavor. I will try your recipe next time we have salmon for dinner.


I made this for dinner last night. Very quick and easy, very tasty. Husband liked it, too. I left out the red pepper flakes because my 2 yr old was also eating. He liked it, too!
