Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 4 Kaiser rolls split and toasted
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 4 slices purple onion
  • 12 dill pickle slices

Directions
  1. Preheat grill.
  2. In a small bowl mix together mayonnaise and salad dressing then set aside.
  3. Shape meat into 4 patties then grill over hot coals for 4 minutes on each side.
  4. Top each patty with 2 cheese slices then cover and continue grilling for 2 minutes longer.
  5. Spread 1 tablespoon reserved dressing mixture on each roll then fill with cooked hamburgers and top with lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles.
  6. Serve immediately.
