Apricot Glazed Chicken Recipe
This dish has the sweet zesty taste. If you are looking for something other than baked or fried chicken try this. My family loves it. Goes great with a nice salad.

Ingredients
  • 7 chicken breast halves
  • 7 chicken legs
  • Salt, pepper, garlic and paprika to taste
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
  • 1 (8 or 10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina or Russian salad dressing

Directions
  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic and paprika.
  2. Place the chicken in a single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
  3. Place the apricots over top.
  4. Pour the preserves and salad dressing over it.
  5. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Been looking for this for some time. Used to make it years ago but just with apricot preserves not dried apricots. Will have to try your version. Great post. Got my "5"!
