  • 30 grams of black glutinous rice
  • 2 cups of coconut milk
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 pandan leaf or vanilla pod
  • 10 cups of water

Directions
  1. soak black glutinous rice with water for atleast 1 hour,
  2. with medium heat bring it to the boil, stirr occasionally
  3. add pandan leaf, when it boils and the water reduces add more water,
  4. after 30 mins try the glutious rice if it's still hard add more water and cook for another 15 mins
  5. if its already soft, add sugar and coconut milk
  6. stirr, taste, serve hot
