  • Rolls:
  • 1 envelope active dry yeast (1/4 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 41/2 cups bread flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup bread flour
  • Honey topping:
  • 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 egg whites
  • Fresh orange glaze:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange rind
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecan nuts (optional)

Directions
  1. Rolls:
  2. Combine first 3 ingredients in a 1-cup glass measuring cup.
  3. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Beat butter at medium speed until creamy.
  5. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and the salt.
  6. Beat until light and fluffy.
  7. Add eggs, milk and lemon juice.
  8. Beat until blended.
  9. Stir in the yeast mixture.
  10. Combine 41/2 cups bread flour and nutmeg.
  11. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed till blended.
  12. Turn dough out onto a floured surface with about 1/4 cup of bread flour.
  13. Knead for 5 minutes, adding additional bread flour as needed.
  14. Place dough in a lightly greased large bowl.
  15. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk (1 1/2 to 2 hours)
  16. Punch dough down.
  17. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
  18. Divide dough in half.
  19. Divide 1 dough half into 12 equal pieces.
  20. Rolling between hands into a 7- to 8 inch long rope.
  21. Wrap each rope into a coil, firmly pinching ind to seal.
  22. Place rolls in a lightly greased 10-inch round cake pan.
  23. Repeat procedure with other half of dough.
  24. Drizzle half of honey topping evenly over each pan of rolls.
  25. Let rise, uncovered in a warm place for 1 hour or double in bulk.
  26. Top evenly with peacans if desired.
  27. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 22 minutes until lightly browned.
  28. Cool rolls 2 mnutes in pans.
  29. Spoon half of fresh orange glaze over each pan of warm rolls.
  30. Serve immediately.
  31. Honey Topping:
  32. Stir everything together until smooth.
  33. Fresh Orange glaze:
  34. Beat powdered sugar and butter until blended.
  35. Add remaining ingredients.
  36. Beat until smooth.

Actually, it's not that hard work at all!! Definitely worth the effort. It's dough rolled up, baked in sauce with a glace over. That's all..
