French Toast Muffins

- 4 slices cinnamon Swirl bread shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 3/4 c milk shopping list
- 1/4 c sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- cream cheese (optional) shopping list
- 1/8 c syrup shopping list
- 1/8 c brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Break up bread into small [nickle sized] pieces in a medium sized bowl.
- Whisk eggs and mix in vanilla, milk, and sugar.
- Pour egg mixture over bread and gently fold so that all of the bread is wet.
- Spray 4 cups of a giant muffin pan (of 6 cups) with no-stick cooking spray.
- Fill those 4 cups evenly with the bread & egg mixture.
- Fill the remaining cups in the muffin tray halfway with water.
- (Optional) Make a well and put a tablespoon of cream cheese in the center of each muffin.
- Cook at 350 for about 20 minutes
- Melt syrup and butter together
- Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl
- When the muffins are done, pour the syrup/butter over them and sprinkle the brown sugar & cinnamon on top.
- Enjoy!
