Amish Mint Chocolate Whoopie Pies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp soda shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- filling: shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 2 Tbsp milk shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 4 Tbsp flour shopping list
- 1 pound powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/8 tsp peppermint shopping list
- couple drops green food coloring shopping list
How to make it
- Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs. Add vanilla. Add milk along with dry ingredients.
- Bake 350 for 8-10 minutes. Cool.
- To make filling: beat egg whites until stiff. Add vanilla, flour and milk. Beat well and add shortening and sugar.
- Add peppermint and food coloring. Beat well.
- Place cream filling between two cookies.
- Enjoy!!!
