Killer Beans Recipe

Ingredients

6 (15 1/2 oz.) cans pork and beans(drained)

1 cup ketchup

1 medium onion, chopped (I chop very finely)

1/2 bell pepper, chopped (I save the other half in the freezer)

1/2 cup - 3/4 cup light brown sugar

1 pound bacon

Directions

Place the drained beans, ketchup, and brown sugar.in large sauce pan.

Simmer on low about 15-20 minutes.

Add onion and bell pepper. Simmer additional 10 minutes

Pour into large 13 x 9 baking dish.

Separate bacon and lay on top of beans until covered.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 mins- 1 hour or until bacon is as crisp as you like it.
