How to make it

  • In an ungreased 3-qt. baking dish, combine the first seven ingredients. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
  • Stir in scallops. Bake 15 minutes longer or until scallops are firm and opaque. Serve with rice if desired.

    I believe I used frozen, pre-cooked for this when I made it, but that sounds like a good tip for using fresh!

    do you have to flash fry the scallops first then add to the baking dish ?...this is what I usually do and it gives the scallops a nice color and texture.
