This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Roberts Estate in Dayton, Ohio in 1988

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 banana sliced thin
  • 2 pats butter
  • 2 teaspoon lemon or orange juice
  • 1 slice French toast

Directions
  1. In a bowl combine cinnamon and sugar.
  2. Add sliced fruit, butter and juice.
  3. Microwave until butter melts and mixture is hot.
  4. Stir until fruit slices are covered with the sauce.
  5. Pour fruit mixture over French toast.
  6. Add maple syrup or sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar on top, if you like.
