Peach Glace Pie

- 9" baked pie shell shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 5 cups fresh peaches with 2 tablespoons lemon juice added shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 3 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
How to make it
- Bake pie shell.
- Mash enough peaches to measure 1 cup.
- Stir together sugar and cornstarch.
- Gradually stir in water and crushed peaches.
- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils.
- Boil and stir 1 minute then cool.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth and spread on bottom of cooked pie shell.
- Fill shell with remaining sliced peaches then pour cooked berry mixture over top.
- Chill at least 3 hours.
