Indian Aatish Lamb Chops Recipe
I have not made this but my friend Kiran has made it for me and she is an excellent cook. Indian food is her specialty and let me tell you, there is none better. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds tender lamb chops
  • 3 ounce ginger paste
  • 2 ounces garlic paste
  • 1-tablespoon salt
  • 1-teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/2-cup rogan
  • 4 ounces brown onion paste
  • 4 tablespoons tamarind pulp
  • 2 ounces garam masala powder
  • 50 milliliters red chili paste
  • 2 ounces gram flour
  • 2 tablespoons jaggery pulp

Directions
  1. Clean the tender lamb chops and marinate in ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, pepper, rogan, brown onion paste, tamarind pulp, garam masala powder and red chili paste.
  2. Lightly roast the gram flour and add it to the marinated lamb chops.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add little jaggery to the marinated lamb chops and keep aside for four hours.
  5. Put the lamb chops on skewers (sheekh) and cook in a clay oven (tandoor) for 20 to 25 minutes or till done.
