Its Naturally Chocolate Cake

- 300G (10.5 oz) low-Fat silken tofu (Mori-Nu or similar) shopping list
- ½ cup flavourful honey shopping list
- 1 tbsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups low-fat soymilk shopping list
- 1 cup chopped, pitted dates, soaked in boiling water 15 minutes and drained shopping list
- ½ cup cocoa shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup spelt flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- ½ tbsp baking powder shopping list
- ½ tsp baking soda shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 360°F. Grease and flour a 9" cake pan.
- Place tofu, honey, vanilla, soymilk and dates in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Sift the dry ingredients together.
- Fold through tofu mixture and pour pan.
- Bake for 1 hour, cool completely in pan.
