When we got married my husband told me "I don't like pork chops", now this is one of his favorite meals. It also "turned" one of our pork-aversion friends.

Ingredients
  • Boneless pork chops, Iowa chops are the best
  • Dijon mustard
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • basil, to taste
  • oregano, to taste
  • thyme, to taste
  • Aromat seasoning, if you can get it
  • olive oil
  • broccoli
  • 1 lb Farfalle or penne pasta
  • salt

Directions
  1. Saute pressed garlic cloves in hot olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Sprinkle the pork chops with Aromat seasoning and let it soak in for a little while.
  3. Slather the Dijon mustard on the pork chops and sprinkle with basil, oregano and thyme.
  4. Place pork chops in skillet and cook 5-10 minutes per side until cooked all through.
  5. Save the pan drippings for a good "sauce" on pasta and broccoli.
  6. While pork chops are cooking boil two pans of water with salt. Cook pasta in one and broccoli in the other.
  7. After broccoli and pasta are tender combine them in one pan.
  8. To serve place a pile of broccoli and pasta in middle of plate and top with an herbed pork chop.
