Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place a medium saucepan over medium heat and add the salt, pepper and flour and butter, stir (you are making a medium white sauce) do NOT let the flour start browning, you just want it to melt the butter and bubble a little to get rid of the floury taste, next add the milk while stirring then start slowly adding water until the medium consistency is reached. Turn the heat down to a low simmer and stir in the tuna. Now make some toast and serve it ladled over the toast.

Creamed tuna on toast is great stuff. I do one with canned soups that are very quick and tasty. It's posted. Either way, tasty.
