How to make it

  • Season salmon with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes, place in freezer bag
  • In medium bowl mix other ingredients. Add marinade to salmon in bag and refrigerate, turning overnight, or for at least 6 hours
  • Preheat oven to 450
  • Arrange salmon on baking sheet, place in preheated oven and bake 7-8 minutes, increase heat to 500 degrees and broil for about 5 more minutes
  • If baking only use a 400 oven for about 20-25 minutes

    Like you Pat I am wild about salmon too. Sounds like a twice baked potato would go well with this wonderful recipe.

    Thanks for the recipe - I'm always looking for something new to do with salmon and this sounds wonderful. I usually buy flash-frozen wild salmon, so I'm thinking I could let it defrost in your marinade and it would be perfect.
