How to make it

  • In skillet, cook chicken strips in oil, set aside
  • Preheat broiler. Place bagel halves on baking sheet.
  • Evenly spread bagel halves with mustard, then top each with sliced tomato, onion, chicken and cheese.
  • Broil until cheese is melted and serve.
  • NOTE: The chicken could also be substituted with bacon strips, canadian bacon, turkey strips, steak strips, etc. Use whatever suits your taste buds at the time

    I think my son will like this too! I'll saute the onion first before adding it. He likes onion but not raw ;)

    Donna, we love them too but watch out for those onions, they sometimes have a "bite" this time of year, lol. Sometimes if they are too strong, I saute' the slices just a few minutes in butter first. Enjoy!

    You may want to omit the onion if too warm when serving to kids!
