Ingredients

1 cup sugar

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 cup water

3 tbsp butter or margarine

juice of 1 lemon

Directions

In small saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, add butter and lemon juice, stirring constantly, cook until mixture thickens, about 3 minutes
