How to make it

  • Cover the taufu with 5 spice powder. Marinate for 40mins.
  • Heat up the oil. Pan fry the taufu (all 4 sides).
  • Dish up and lay them on the plate.
  • Mix the water to the balance of the 5 spice powder, salt, pepper and spicy preserved beancurd.
  • Pour it over the pan and let it boil till it thickens. Pour over the taufu.
  • Sprinkle the chopped coriander over the taufu.
