Rich,creamy lobster dish. My mother-in-law"s recipe. Have been making for years. Passed down 2 generations to me.

Ingredients
  • Meat of 1lb. lobster
  • 2T butter
  • 2T flour
  • 11/2 c cream or half&half
  • 2t. english mustard
  • 1/2c cooked mushrooms
  • grated parmesan
  • few grains of cayenne pepper

Directions
  1. Chop lobster meat in small pieces,set aside Melt butter,blen in flour and gradually add cream or half&half,stirring till it reaches the boiling point. Boil 2 minutes,add mustard,1/4 salt and a few grains of cayenne,add lobster meat and mushrooms to the sauce and mix well. Put into augratin dish,sprinkle with parmesan and place under the broiler to brown.
  2. Maybe too much for 2 people but too little for 4. I always make home-made french fries with this and peas.
