A unique Holiday treat! Great with eggnog! Pioneer sugar is my own "delicious disaster" It is sugar and cinnimon, and vanilla extract, mixed together! At first it tasted wierd, then it grew on me. then i deicided to and it to the menu!

  • 1 1/4 Cup flour
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Cups Raisin Bran cereal
  • 1 Cup fat free milk (skim)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 Cup applesauce
  • 1/3 Cup PIONEER GOLDEN LIGHT BROWN SUGAR, firmly packed
  • 2 Tablespoon margarine, melted

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a medium bowl mix cereal and milk;
  4. let stand 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in egg, applesauce, PIONEER GOLDEN LIGHT BROWN SUGAR and margarine.
  6. Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy). Spoon batter into muffin pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray or lined with cupcake sleeves, filling each cup 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
