Crock Pot Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup margarine

2 cups onion chopped

2 cups celery chopped

1/4 cup parsley sprigs

2 cups mushrooms

12 cups bread cubes

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

2 eggs well beaten

1-1/2 teaspoons salt

1-1/2 teaspoons sage

1 teaspoon thyme

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon marjoram

3-1/2 cups chicken broth

Directions

Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onion, celery, parsley and mushrooms.

Pour over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl.

Add all seasonings and toss well.

Pour in enough broth to moisten.

Add eggs and mix well.

Pack lightly into crock pot then cover and set to high for 45 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and cook 6 hours.

Oh this sounds really good. I just saw another one and I think this might be a bit better, although I'm not big on mushrooms in my dressing. Well anyway, can't wait for a good time to try it out. Thanks for sharing.
