These came from a holiday cookie/brownie email I recieved thats been circulating forever, had every recipe on it from everywhere, thought I'd share!!

Ingredients
  • 1cup butter or shortening
  • 2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 &1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tarter
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup coconut

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Cream shortening and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and beat well.
  4. Sift flour, cream of tarter, and baking soda.
  5. Add to cream mixture; blend well. Add coconut. The mixture will be very thick.
  6. Form into balls the size of a walnut.
  7. Place on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
  8. Bake for 9-10 minutes.
