How to make it

  • Put a pan inside a pan of water (double boiler).
  • Melt on medium heat, unsweetened chocolate, semisweet chocolate chips and 1 tsp. shortening in the pan that does not have water in it.
  • Place pretzils into melty goodness, remove with tongs and place about 1/2 inch apart on aluminum foil or a cookie sheet.
  • Place coated pretzils in the refrig. for about 20 minutes until coating is hard.
  • Meanwhile, melt mint chips and 1/2 tsp. shortening in another double boiler as above.
  • Remove pretzils from fridge and drizzle mint over top of them.
  • Place back in fridge to cool.
  • Remove from foil. Walla!
