When I was young, a long time ago, this was my favorite food in the world. (I was a picky eater). Grandma's recipe.

We love this stuff at my house... its a Christmas tradition........

This is really good stuff, if you haven't had this one yet, be sure to give it a try. Great post.

I can't believe it, my grandmother made this same dish, but would freeze it in an ice cube tray, and remove 1/2 hour from freezer before serving. Thanks for recipe and the memories!

I came across a recipe about 20 years ago that looked similar, except it had a container of coolwhip in place of the sour cream, a little extra liquid (from the canned fruit) and a package of instant pistachio pudding. It was delicious but i lost the recipe long ago. Thanks for sharing this one--it brought back great memories for me! :) RML
