How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Cream butter and sugar well. Beat in egg and almond extract
  • Gradually blend in dry ingredients and tint dough with a few drops of green food coloring.
  • Fill cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet using tree plate #21.
  • Decorate with colored sugar, if desired.
  • Bake 10 - 12 minutes.
  • Cool on racks.
