- Bottom Layer: shopping list
- 3/4 cup hard margarine shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 6 tbsp cocoa shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 1 tbsp milk shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1 cup coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- Second Layer: shopping list
- 1/4 cup hard margarine shopping list
- 3 tbsp milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp vanilla pudding powder shopping list
- 2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- Icing: shopping list
- 4 semisweet chocolate baking squares shopping list
- 1 tbsp hard margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Bottom Layer: combine first 6 ingredients in a large saucepan. Heat and stir until mixture resembles custard. remove from heat.
- Add graham crumbs, coconut and walnuts. Stir. Pack firmly in ungreased 9 x 9 pan. chill.
- Second Layer: beat all 4 ingredients together in mediium bowl until smooth. Spread over first layer. Chill.
- Icing: melt chocolate and margarine in medium saucepan on low, stirring often. spread over second layer. Chill. bring to room temperature before cutting to avoid cracking hard top layer. a hot dry knife helps.
