Savoy Sponge Cake

- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 3 ½ tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1 whole egg shopping list
- 1 cup cake flour shopping list
- 2 ½ tbsp potato starch shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 3 tbsp sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until light; mix in the whole egg and then add the flour and potato starch, beating smooth.
- Beat the 2 egg whites with remaining sugar until stiff peaks form; gently fold the beaten whites into the egg yolk mixture, lifting to incorporate air.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake 45 minutes or until tests done.
